Winter Pops of Color

It’s no secret I’m not a fan of the cold weather that comes with the Winter season, but I’ve been battling the cold with lots of layers and pops of color! I still love grey, neutrals, light pink, blush, etc.. and will always style those colors, BUT recently I’ve been incorporating BRIGHT colors into my winter wardrobe to switch things up. Plus, I really think wearing a bright, bold color serves as a little Winter pick me up.

This free people slip tunic is the perfect pop of color and I was immediately drawn to it in the store. I love the purplish-cobalt color with the interesting gold pattern. I also love that this is tunic slip and can be layered in so many ways! When I shot this it was cold, but not unbearable, so I didn’t style is with a coat or sweater, but I would totally throw a long chunky cardigan over top of it. It’s also an easy transition piece to style when the weather starts to get warmer–stay tuned for that!

Whether you grab this slip or not, think about adding some bright colors to your winter wardrobe! I promise you’ll be glad you did. Together we can survive the cold! (Ps. The fabulous earrings are from my Stella & Dot site and you can grab them HERE. They also come in emerald!
