Spring Staples REVOLVE EDITION

I was trying to think of how I could share all of the amazing spring finds that I’ve seen in one post. Well, it’s honestly just not feasible…so I went back to the drawing board and came up with a better idea! This post will be the first of several “Spring Staple” posts. I’ll be sharing the must have pieces that you should have in your closet from some of my favorite retailers. For example, “THE KIMONO,” but instead of overwhelming you with all the kimonos I’ve found, I’m going to split it up based on retailers. Of course Highlighting my favorites and keeping everything under $100.

My goal with this series is to show you little bits of each retailer, so maybe you’ll find a new favorite place to shop and/or get inspiration for what types of pieces you should add to your spring wardrobe.

I’m excited to have this first post be from Revolve. It’s one of my absolute favorite places to shop! Not only do they always have the top trends, but they have an ongoing AMAZING sale section, offer items at all different price points, they carry some of my favorite brands and every order is free 2-day shipping (and free returns)! PS. This is where I shop anytime I need a dress for a special event. You just can’t beat their selection and prices.

1. Rainbow Jewelry – This trend is everywhere and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon! It’s a great way to add a pop of color to a neutral outfit.
2. The Jumpsuit– I love this trend because it takes the thinking out of putting an outfit together and it’s so comfortable. This one is great for trips because it’s a packable material. It also comes in several colors and could easily be dressed up or down.
3. Day to Night Jacket – When the weather starts getting warmer you probably don’t want to wear those leather moto jackets. This lightweight open suede jacket is perfect for a day or night out.
4. The Spring Blazer– A blazer is the perfect way to pull a simple outfit together and take it up a notch. Throw it over a tee and jeans or a dress. So many ways to wear it and it can double as a jacket on cooler nights. I love the material and color of this one from Revolve.
5. The Beach/Pool Sandal – This is obviously a must have item you need. I have these exact ones and they’re perfect. Comfortable, well made and won’t break the bank.
6. The Leopard Sandal– Fall and Winter was all about the leopard flats/booties and so naturally the leopard sandal is the replacement for Spring/Summer! You need it. And leopard is a neutral!
7. Polka Dots– When I think of Spring I think of polka dots (and other patterns like gingham), so how perfect is this sparkly polka dot blazer?! I love how they have styled it for a night out.
8. The Aviator– I confess I need an intervention for sunglasses. I love them. But if I had to choose one style for Spring/Summer it would be the Aviator. They’re usually lightweight and don’t leave those annoying creases on your face. I love the pop of neon on this Quay (one of my favorite brands) pair!
9. The Graphic Tee– Stocking up on graphic tees are a no brainer! I love them with shorts, tucked into a skirt, under a blazer…they are just super fun to style and functional. Also very easy to pack on vacation because you can style it different ways (therefore packing less!!).
10. The Kimono– I love kimonos because you can throw them on over your day time or night time outfit, but you can also use it as a cover up at the pool/beach. I love items that can be worn multiple ways…especially when it comes to packing for a trip!
11. The Jogger– I love joggers because it’s basically like wearing pjs. They’re also so comfortable to travel in. I am obsessed with a leopard pair from Zara that I bought years ago. This pair from Revolve is almost identical!
12. The Straw Flat– Everywhere I look I’m seeing straw accessories. This year it’s not just about the hat or bag, it’s also about the straw flat or sandal! I think these are super cute and they also come in red, which would be a fun pop of color!
13. The Wide Leg Pant-This trend has been around for a while, so in order to keep it up to date, grab a pair in a fun color! I love the paper bag style (that extra high waisted look) because you can tuck a tank or wear with a bodysuit and it’s much more flattering because it highlights the tiniest part of the waist.
14. The Perfect Straw Bag– I love a straw bag for the beach or pool, but I also love them for going out. I grabbed this one during the shopbop sale and saw that it’s back on Revolve! Seriously so cute.
15. The Summer Dress– I love having a great solid color dress in my wardrobe for Spring/Summer. This one is perfection! I love the color so much. I’d throw a denim jacket or cardigan over it if needed. I love that it could be worn with flats or heels/wedges.
16. The Beach Bag– Everyone needs a great beach bag! I love straw because they stay clean. Just shake it out! I love the embroidery detail on this one!
17. The Platform Sneaker– This trend may not be for everyone, but if it’s for you, then this pair is so great! It’s an updated take on a classic sneaker. I love that they come in a bunch of colors too.
18. The Wedge Sandal– Everyone needs a pair of wedge sandals. They don’t have to be sky high, but a little wedge really goes a long way for elongating the leg. I love the suede detail on this pair!
19. The Summer Sweater– Everyone needs a “summer sweater” that is light enough to wear during the day, but also could easily be worn on a cooler night. This one is a bit of a splurge, but I love the distressing and think it would look super cute with skinny jeans and heeled sandals for going out at night!
20. Wedding Guest/Gala Attire– It’s that time of year! You don’t always have to go for the cocktail dress. I love this dressy jumpsuit! I especially love the color…so perfect for Spring.
21. The Perfect Shorts– It can be hard to find the perfect pair of shorts. I love this high waisted pair. They’re super comfortable and I sized up for a more boyfriend/baggy fit!
22. The White Jean– A bunch of you asked for me to find a pair of white denim that are boyfriend style. Well, here you go! These are the perfect pair! You can take these from day to night.
23. Vacation Wear– It’s the time of year to stock up on great vacation wear! I love this tropical jumpsuit…add a statement earring and a straw bag and you’re all set!
24. The Straw Hat– I basically live in hats in the summer, so I’m always on the hunt for cute ones to add to my collection. I really love the sash on this one and the price is right!

I hope that you’re as excited about this series as I am and that you’re inspired to start putting amazing outfits together! It doesn’t take a lot of clothes to make the perfect wardrobe, just the perfect staple pieces!
