Spring Getaway at Grand Residences

This post is sponsored by Grand Residences Riviera Cancun.

Earlier this month, I had the honor of being hosted for a spring getaway with a stay at Grand Residences Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos. If you’re unfamiliar with where that is, it’s right in between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! By far one of the top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need from classic hotel amenities like a 24 hour gym, gorgeous pools, volleyball, tennis, etc. to more rare ones such as boogie boards/snorkeling equipment, a library, tea service, and so much more! My personal favorite was the poolside fruit skewers and popsicles.

Day 1

The first day consisted mostly of travel and getting settled into the hotel. Once I arrived, the entire afternoon was so relaxing. We were able to explore the resort, lounge by the pool and even got a tour of the property. There was so much to see and I was taking it all in! After our tour, we hopped over to their Heaven Beach Bar and enjoyed a delicious tequila tasting along with some incredible mocktails. We then had some dinner had at one of their restaurants, Flor de Canela, where they served some of the best guac I have ever tasted! It was definitely a great way to start the vacation.

Day 2

Next day, I woke up bright and early for a snorkeling tour. I was definitely nervous the entire morning – I am not a deep ocean person – but I did not let it get to me and it ended up being an incredible experience. After getting back and recouping, we headed to a cooking class at El Faro Grill restaurant where we learned how to cook pork ribs in chocolate sauce. I could not believe how good it turned out! With quite the busy morning, I headed to the beach for some R&R. We then had an Italian themed dinner on the terrace with martinis and jazz. It was such a vibe!

Day 3

The next day was another busy morning with a bike tour through downtown Puerto Morelos. We got to see the marina, some local shops and experience some of the beautiful culture. I truly loved how we were able to split time between enjoying the resort and exploring the beautiful city. After biking for a while, I got to relax with a luxurious hot stone massage and then, you guessed it, more lounging by the pool. We ended the night with another amazing dinner. This time we were treated to a private Chef in Suite dinner in their Presidential Suite. It felt so special to have the chef make us our own personal meals. I later found out that this is something they offer to any guest to enjoy when staying with them. It is an additional fee, however, it truly made the experience feel that much more special.

Day 4

On my last day, I was so sad to leave. Being there was such an incredible experience and I truly enjoyed every bit of it! Before leaving, I was able to do some morning yoga right on the beach and relax some more around the resort before heading off to the airport.

Of all the places I’ve been to, Grand Residences Cancun Riviera in Puerto Morelos is one I would honestly go back to. Everything just felt so easy and it really seemed like I was on my own private island the entire time! The resort itself offers everything you could ever want when it comes to experiences and luxury and is perfect for any type of group, whether it’s girls trips, honeymoons or family vacations! It was such a great combo of being adult focused, but also family friendly. Oh, and did I mention they offer all inclusive?! It truly is the perfect place to stay! To anyone planning a trip out to Mexico, please look into The Grand Residences in Puerto Morelos! I guarantee you will not regret it.
