August was a big and special month — we celebrated our Sammy’s 12th birthday, we got the keys to our new house in Rehoboth Beach, and we sent off summer in exchange for the back-to-school craziness. Despite my dislike for cold weather, I’m leaning into all things fall right now: cozy sweaters, ballet flats, and barrel jeans. I’m also working on a handful of blog posts that I think you’ll love as we transition into a cooler and slower season.

Barrel jeans have been all the rage this year, and I’m so excited to have found them in this trendy leopard print. The super affordable price point on these also makes them a must-have for the upcoming season (they’re under $30!!)
Sam Edelman Michaela Gem Flat
I have always loved the feminine look of ballet flats, and this pair really stood out to me since they’re covered in gems. While this might already be a trending style, the detailing adds something unique and eye-catching.
Nathan James Barstools
I recently grabbed these counter height barstools from Amazon and love how the sleek and modern style has elevated our kitchen space. Bonus: the cushioned back makes them cozy to sit in for longer periods of time.
Leopard Print Peplum Top
I don’t typically shop for clothes on Amazon (just a select few things have come from there) but this leopard print top was too cute to pass up. It looks so chic with a pair of black straight leg jeans and some kitten heels!
Alani Nu Cherry Slush Energy Sticks
This flavor is delicious and has been a go-to of mine to get through those mid-afternoon energy slumps. Just add a packet to some water and you’ll be graced with 200mg of caffeine (busy moms know this is necessary.)

I’ve been wearing leopard on Wednesday’s for Romi and these sneakers are the perfect way to dip your toes into the adorable print. Style them with some straight leg jeans and a black top for a simple but chic look.
